The Boys by Girls Styling and Photography Competition gave two students, one stylist and one photographer, the opportunity to work with Cecilie Harris, Editor-in-Chief of Boys by Girls, on a shoot to be published on the female gaze focused magazine! We're proud to work with pioneers, those at the forefront of movements fighting for positive fashion. One of these movers and shakers, is Danielle Vanier. The 2016 InStyle Curve Influencer of the Year started to blog to ensure that people of all shapes and sizes were being represented fairly within the fashion industry, showing that fashion is about feeling good about who you are, whoever that is.
Yesterday marked the GFW18 campaign photoshoot, featuring influencers and professional models, wearing collections created by this years graduating class. With pieces from Northumbria University, Plymouth College of Art, University of East London and many many more, the culmination of different universities made for a creative exploration of talent heading to GFW18!
A few weeks ago we held our Graduate Fashion Week photo shoot where we got to see eight of our graduates’ designs come to life with models and influencers wearing them. Given that many of our alumni go on to be some of the biggest names in fashion, we thought they deserved no one less than the renowned photographer Damian Foxe to shoot their designs.
Nancy Dreaming is the fashion and beauty blogger with a penchant for pink and colouring her hair. We caught up with her behind the scenes of our photoshoot to chat about sewing without formal training, using vegan beauty products and why tattoos don't have to mean anything at all to look pretty.
