About me

About me _____
I’m Annika, a Fashion Marketing graduate from the University of Leeds with a background in graphic design.
Growing up in Singapore and studying in the UK has shaped a culturally informed approach to creativity, allowing me to draw from different industries, disciplines and perspectives. Moving between Asian and Western contexts has also encouraged me to thing out-of-the-box, experiment with unexpected formats, narratives and visual directions to bring ideas to life in ways that feel authentic, engaging and commercially relevant and adaptable across audiences.
I enjoy challenges that require me to bridge the gap between the intangible and tangible through strategic creativity. I’m particularly interested in emerging technology, consumer behaviour and human psychology, and how these can be used to turn abstract ideas into engaging digital and physical experiences that help brands stand out in crowded spaces.

Looking Beyond Fashion
A major source of inspiration for my work comes from looking beyond the fashion industry. I often draw from technology, behavioural psychology, media and other sectors to understand how different industries communicate ideas, solve problems and create memorable experiences.
This has become central to my creative practice, particularly with KREDIA, where I approached sustainability not only as an environmental issue, but also as a communication and systems challenge. It encouraged me to explore how complex information could be transformed into something clearer, more engaging and more accessible for both consumers and businesses.
