About me

About me _____
I am a 2026 Fashion Design graduate from the University of Lancashire, before studying fashion, I did A-levels in Chemistry, Physics and Textiles so I try to approach projects from a technical as well as creative mindset. A lot of my work uses embroidery and beading to add detail to garments as I love the freedom it gives you to create the image of anything and the precision and commitment it requires.
Inspiration

Inspiration _____
Venetian Masks and Victorian Pornography
My graduate collection, Circus Freak is primarily inspired by the Moretta mask, which allowed the wearer freedom of expression while concealing their identity in 18th Century Venetian courting culture. Other points of inspiration included Victorian pornography, circus costuming (both historic and present) and the sexually charged poetry of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Circus Freak is all about feeling sexy and empowered by balancing concealment and revealment using sheer fabrics, rouching and lacing.

“ We need better things, not more. We should not pollute the world with meaningless, unused things when we can make and support things of rare and precious beauty.”
