With a full house and dimmed lights, the Ravensbourne graduate show began on our SmartFocus Catwalk. As each designers collection came down the runway, you could immediately see the dedication and passion these students have towards their work.
Designer Brier Holloway sent her models down the catwalk in black oversized hoods, dark marbled greys, and oversized raincoats composed of khaki and yellow. After preceded an all black women's collection by Verhonica Mateo, consisting of intricate lace and mesh, decorated with eye catching embellishments. The oversized sleeves span a different take towards a traditional jacket, in an almost deconstructed look.
With the audience sitting on the edge of their seats, one designers collection consisted of oversized white tshirts covered in designer labels, and tags to look like money. The amazing talent at Ravensbourne was shown amongst the looks of silver metal and red leather face masks, oversized baggy elbow gloves, and a collection entirely of travel luggage, and neck pillows.
The overall mood of the show remained exciting and interesting. Ravensbourne did not disappoint today on our SmartFocus Catwalk.
