Rising Stars: The GFW24 Talent of Tomorrow Creative Photoshoot

The annual GFW24 Talent of Tomorrow Creative Photoshoot took place in London on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26. This event showcased emerging talents in the fashion industry, providing a platform for young designers to display their creativity and skills.

Over the two days, 32 final-year students collaborated in various roles to ensure the success of the shoot. Working as photographers, art/creative directors, stylists, BTS photographers, videographers, and social media content creators, they brought a diverse range of skills and perspectives to the project.

A total of 61 final-year student designs from 26 UK member universities were showcased. These designs, carefully selected by stylist and global ambassador Bemi Shaw, reflect the creativity and innovation of emerging young designers.

Collaborating with students from Solent University and Mark Woolley at ELECTRIC Space for L’Oréal Professionnel brought diverse perspectives and expertise to the project. This blend of academia and industry experience led to a dynamic and successful outcome in makeup and hair styling.

Emma Calder and Melissa Clovey, both from Solent University, provided valuable guidance to the stylists and makeup students. Their expertise and support were instrumental in ensuring a successful and enriching experience for everyone involved.
