Design and produce a captivating, trend-setting commercial womenswear garment worthy of a red carpet event! Win £750 for yourself and £250 for your University. Open to second and third year students in both fashion and print design courses at GFW Member Universities. The overall winner will have their designs featured in the Gala Show at Graduate Fashion Week 2016 in front of a star studded audience of celebrities, media and fashion industry VIPs, as well as the event being live streamed around the world.
Glamour and Fashion are synonymous, with this in mind we would like you to design and produce a womenswear garment worthy of a red carpet event. As a brand Lipsy specialise in attention to detail, creating a product that is innovative and different, that stands out from crowd, yet remains commercial. Therefore, the judging panel will be looking for; red carpet impact, design, creativity, craftsmanship and commercial viability.
Catwalk selection judges will view all catwalk shows in the search for red-carpet worthy dresses, selecting graduates for interview.
Finalists will be informed by GFW as to when they will meet with the Lipsy team.
The winning student will be announced and showcased at the Graduate Fashion Week Gala Show on Wednesday 8th June 2016.
