Each year GFW celebrates the incredible creative talent of fashion students all over the country, and internationally too. Not only do we celebrate student talent during GFW, we also commend inventive artists throughout the year.
Fashion drawing and illustration is an important factor of depicting a story for a fashion designer. Collections can be portrayed in various unique ways, and illustrators can convey messages of a collection through their drawings. Jessica Currie, a London based artist worked alongside GFW to illustrate stunning continuous line drawings of 2017 graduate collections. Jessica uses a defined colour palette, with minimal shading and distinct lines to create alluring perceptions of some of the GFW17 outfits. Each image presents an individual representation of an outfit, focusing on the most striking elements.
We’re looking to collaborate and highlight illustrators work, so if you would like to see your work featured with us, get in touch and contact our Digital Editor via editor@graduatefashionweek.com.
