Holly Fulton in conversation with Hilary Alexander, Graduate Fashion Week 25th Anniversary.
On the evening of 21st October, Holly Fulton was recognised as the Fashion Innovator of the year during the 11th Annual Scottish Fashion Awards.
To collect her award, the ever stylish visionary teamed a multi coloured striped two piece, from her own Resort 17 collection, with a textured grey jacket and zesty yellow clutch.
The Womenswear designer established her label in 2009, going on to gain the title of Scottish Young Designer of the Year in 2009 and 2010.
One lucky Graduate Fashion week 25th Anniversary graduate, Genevieve Devine, won the GFW 25th Anniversary TU scholarship, giving her the opportunity to have one on one mentoring with Holly Fulton herself.
It is this style of mentoring that Holly attributes to being one of the main factors of her success, “When I started out I was lucky enough to be given lots of support from industry and engage with some key mentors who still guide me today.”
