After the huge success of the Gala Awards show, we are delighted to have some of our finalists show at 'Graduate Fashion Week Gala Roadshow’ this July! The bringing forth of graduate creativity doesn't stop when the Truman Brewery closes it's doors- we're dedicated to discovering and recognising the movers and revolutionary spirits emerging in the industry all year round.
Ryan Brockbank, Zexi Yu, Laura Capello, Claire Tagg and Beth Wolley are just a few of the designers who will be showcasing a selection of outfits from their collections at the British Style Collective, presented by The Clothes Show Live. The British Style Collective celebrates the world of fashion, beauty, music, wellbeing, fitness, health, and education with a jam-packed programme. This is a great opportunity for those who missed out on Graduate Fashion Week to get a first hand glimpse of the award winning 2017 collections. On Friday 7th July, at the ‘Creative Hub’ in the Baltic Quarter, the designers’ clothes will be displayed on a professional catwalk five times throughout the day.
As well as catwalk shows, there will also be a panel talk at 10.15am in The Furnace Room hosted by our ambassador Caryn Franklin on ‘How To Enter The Fashion Industry’. Amongst other industry insiders in attendance, one of the panel speakers will be Managing and Creative Director of Graduate Fashion Week and Fashion Scout, Martyn Roberts.
We are looking forward to bringing the excitement and talent of GFW to Liverpool!
