The winners were selected by our judges and invited to a digital workshop with Erica Horne, founder of CAD For Fashion, at Whitechapel Gallery to bring their designs to life. Using a software called NewArc, the young creatives were able to turn their design sketches into digital garments. Inspired by the Graduate Fashion Foundation archives, their designs reflected research into past collections; using of historical references to create two contemporary outfit designs. The workshop provided the freedom to experiment with any fabric, colour, or trims they could imagine, allowing their sketches to transform into complete virtual looks.
