Graduate Fashion Week 2026 Schools and Colleges Day
The schools and colleges day will take place on Thursday 18th June at Truman Brewery with the mission to create opportunities for multidisciplinary fashion talent. There are many opportunities throughout the day which benefit both universities and learners:
Exhibition Tours - Connect with 500+ prospective fashion students, increase course awareness, and give students the opportunity to explore universities and meet lecturers.
1:1 Sessions with Teachers – Build relationships with educators, gain insight into student recruitment, and provide guidance on higher education pathways.
University Showcase Presentations – Highlight new courses, facilities, and specialisms through scheduled talks and presentations.
Goody Bags – Extends reach beyond the event by sharing recruitment materials with students, parents, and guardians.
Cinema Film Showcase – Showcase your university, student work, facilities, and opportunities across both design and non-design fashion disciplines.
Skills Workshops – Engages directly with students through practical activities while demonstrating university expertise and specialisms.
Interactive Stand Activities – Encourages student engagement and gathers valuable feedback on awareness and interest in each institution.
Student Ambassador Tours – Offers authentic peer-to-peer insights and allows prospective students to ask questions about university life.
Catwalk Showcase – Features student work on the Graduate Fashion Week catwalk and increases visibility for both students and institutions.
For this event we have two arrival times listed below, which will run on two slightly different schedules - 9:30am and 10:30am:

For this talk we’ve invited Kemi Danielle Gbadebo, part of Fashion Accelerator Cohort and founder of Gbadebo; Daniel Peters, Founder, Fashion Minority Report; Emma Calder, Course Leader, School of Creative Industries, Southampton Solent University; and Catherine Nicholson, Senior Producer: Learning, Young People, V&A to speak on what opportunities are out there for young people interested in developing their creativity.
GFW Live! 1PM: Being An Early Years Founder In The Creative Industries
Featuring: Brandon Bollard, Safa B. Malik, Mia Mazzocchi, Tarika Kinney, and Callie Therese Holden
Earlier this year we launched another cohort of the The Fashion Accelerator programme, supported by PVH Foundation. This programme is focused on supporting future talent, helping them realise their full potential to scale their brands and businesses . We’ve invited talented creatives from the cohort, including a journalist, photographer, designer and stylist to share more about the variety of roles available in the fashion industry.
Our goal is to Inspire future fashion talent and raise awareness of the diverse range of courses, disciplines, and opportunities available within higher education.
