Manuela: Fashion Designer. Vision grounded in intensive research on society.
My name is Manuela Mezzanu, I'm 22 years old and live in Tuscany. I took the path in fashion unexpectedly. I have always had a propensity for creativity and, attending the art school with sculpture direction I became passionate about research and design discovering how wide was, for me, the field of art. Since 2020 I have discovered fashion as a powerful narrative and expressive tool. This choice, initially a bet, as it was always an environment foreign to me, allowed me to recognize the impact of the sector on society, offering me a concrete means to tell the world and my ideas.

The world that inspires me is the real, imperfect and spontaneous one.
I'm interested to see how certain cultural languages mix with the simple things of everyday life. The tradition of my country, the familiar images, the street fashion, the ordinary people: that's where I really get my inspiration. That's where I find the most sincere stories and the strongest stimuli to create.
