Inspiration _____
Inspired by the Strength and Spirit of Workers in Industrial and Post-Industrial Wales.
My graduate collection draws inspiration from the strength and spirit of Welsh workers who shaped industrial and post-industrial landscapes. I explored their hardworking lives, durable clothing and the raw, rugged environments they inhabited. The collection reimagined their practical garments with a modern edge, blending heritage with contemporary fashion to honour their legacy while creating pieces that feel relevant and wearable today.
Denim was the focal fabric of my collection, chosen for its durability and strong connection to workwear heritage. Every garment was designed and developed using CLO3D, allowing me to experiment with fit and construction digitally. This process helped me visualise complex designs in real time, streamline development and reduce waste. Blending traditional processes with modern precision allowed for a sustainable, forward-thinking collection.
