Northumbria University Celebrates 70 Years of Fashion for the Closing Catwalk of GFW26 Day Three

Graduate Fashion Week 2026 presented by F&F, at the Truman Brewery, began it’s third day with the International Collective Catwalk at 10:30am and a headline GFW Live! talk from Patrick McDowell.

The Careers Stage kicked off with “what if I change my mind?” A talk from experts about navigating decision making in the professional world, shortly followed by a everything you need to know about making a professional portfolio hosted by Emma Davidson - managing director at DENZA.

Three catwalk shows followed: Winchester School of Art x Jimmy Choo Academy at 12:30pm, University for the Creative Arts at 3pm, and Northumbria University closing day three at 5:45pm with a digital catwalk, archive looks and graduate work.

The Careers Quarter drew to a close at 5pm, with attendance of over 100 industry experts, 300 students, and 600 conversations had, the space was abuzz with meaningful conversations packed with real world advice on starting a career.

The Innovators of Tomorrow showroom welcomed industry guests to explore the work of our Fashion Accelerator cohort brands, showcasing a range of emerging talent from all fashion sectors.

Daily Programme 

Across the day, the F&F Digital Innovation Lab hosted live CAD workshops, 1-to-1 CLO drop-in sessions, and a Fermat workshop. The Cinema programme ran throughout, including the Young Talent of Tomorrow screening and Fashion in Motion. The Innovators of Tomorrow Showroom, presenting the GFF Fashion Accelerator cohort supported by PVH Foundation, opened to industry visitors.
