Catwalk Round-up and Highlights From Graduate Fashion Week 2026 Day One

Graduate Fashion Week 2026 presented by F&F, opened today at the Truman Brewery, London, with the GFF Industry Breakfast, a headline GFW Live! talk from Dr. Samuel Ross MBE, three catwalk shows, and the F&F x GFF Curated Catwalk Show closing day one. Below is a recap of the day's key moments and the award winners announced.

Day One Highlights 

Industry Breakfast The week opened at 8:30am with the GFF Industry Breakfast, which brought together GFW partners, industry leaders, alumni, and the GFF team to mark the start of the 2026 edition and the Graduate Fashion Foundation's 35th anniversary.

GFW Live! In Conversation With Dr. Samuel Ross MBE The GFW Live! stage opened with Dr. Samuel Ross MBE in conversation on Thriving Against The Odds, exploring resilience, vision, and building a creative career on your own terms. The session drew a packed audience and set the tone for the week.


The first catwalk kicked off at 12pm with a Collective show of graduate work from: University of Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts, Anglia Ruskin University, Coventry University, Northbrook College, Staffordshire University, University of Derby, Solent University, Leeds Arts University, and London College of Contemporary Arts. This was followed by a joint 3pm show from Arts University Bournemouth and Bath Spa University, then Nottingham Trent University shortly after at 5:30pm. Each student showcased between 2 to 6 looks from their graduate collections and the day commenced with a GFW x F&F Catwalk.

Daily Programme 

Across the day, the F&F Digital Innovation Lab hosted live CAD workshops, 1-to-1 CLO drop-in sessions, and a Fermat workshop. The Cinema programme ran throughout, including the Young Talent of Tomorrow screening and Fashion in Motion. The Innovators of Tomorrow Showroom, presenting the GFF Fashion Accelerator cohort supported by PVH Foundation, opened to industry visitors.

Coming Up Tomorrow 

Tuesday 16 June continues with University of Lancashire & Norwich University of the Arts at 12:30pm, De Montfort University at 3:00pm, Sheffield University at 5:30pm, and the Liberty Fabrics catwalk show at 7:30pm celebrating 150 years of Liberty Fabrics.
