With campuses in Naples and Milan, IUAD Accademia della Moda was founded on the vision of master tailor Domenico Lettieri in the 1950s and formalised in the 1960s. The academy is built on Lettieri’s pioneering geometric approach to pattern-making—a patented method that continues to define its teaching philosophy today.
Recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education among Italy’s AFAM institutions (Higher Education for Art, Music and Dance), IUAD prepares students for professional careers in fashion design, visual communication and interior design through a blend of rigorous academic training, industry collaboration and international exchange opportunities.
